Sonora, CA – The Salvation Army needs your muscle to help with its 24th holiday bell-ringing season in Sonora.
“Our red kettle drive starts November 28 and runs through December 24th,” says Salvation Army spokesperson Donita Osborne. “We are looking for about 50 volunteers.”
Ringers will be out Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at various locations in the city. If you would like to be a bell ringer, you can call (209) 588-1986.
As reported earlier, November 1, the Salvation Army opened a social service office at 83 South Stewart Street, Suite 203 in Sonora. Its regular hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
