Sonora, CA — The Wildcats are one win away from taking home another title. The team is already the Mother Lode League Champions and with a win next Friday, they will be the Division IV Sac-Joaquin Section Champions.
Last night in the semifinal game, Sonora High took the field on their home turf and went straight to work. The Wildcats delivered by putting up seven points in each quarter to beat third seed Los Banos, 28 to 14.
Next Friday, November 28 at 7 p.m., second seed Sonora will hit the gridiron at Lincoln High School in Stockton. The team will line up against first seed Central Catholic for the Division IV championship. Central Catholic, the defending title champions, beat Escalon last night 35 to 14.
