Tuolumne, CA — Several customers of Frontier Communications are without service in the greater Tuolumne area.
A company spokesperson says some fiber optic lines were accidentally damaged by individuals testing groundwater, and repairs are being made. It is impacting an estimated 1,200-2,000 customers that have hardline phone service and/or internet.
Frontier hopes to have the repairs completed by around 6pm.
