Clarke Broadcasting is kicking off its Cash Drive today in partnership with Interfaith Social Services.
Interfaith Director Cathie Peacock was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
Peacock says there is an overwhelming need for cash and coats this year. During a typical month, over 800 families come into the Interfaith office just to receive food. Cash donations to Interfaith are encouraged in order to purchase much needed items.
Tune into Star 92.7 and Today’s Country 93.5 KKBN this Thursday and Friday morning to help a great cause. The on-air cash drive will be on both Star 92.7 and 93.5 KKBN from 6-10am. Call (209) 533-1450 to donate.
One hundred percent of all donations go to Interfaith Social Services to help Tuolumne County families in need and cash donations are tax deductible.
The first four years of this event the community donated over $100,000 cash and more than 6,000 coats. The donations helped Interfaith meet local needs for many months.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
