Copperopolis, CA — The CHP has released more information about a crash we reported on earlier this week.
The CHP says that 81-year-old Dale Henry Banks of Copperopolis was driving on O’Byrnes Ferry Road, Monday afternoon, near Duchess Drive. For unknown reasons, Banks allowed his vehicle to drift off the side of the road, hit an embankment, and overturn. The accident blocked O’Byrnes Ferry Road for an hour. Banks was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center to treat minor injuries. The CHP reports that alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the collision.
