Sutter Creek, CA – Amador County Sheriff’s officials report a father and son were killed after a plane crash northwest of the county airport.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. yesterday along the 12,000 block of Shake Ridge Road near Sutter Creek. Amador County Undersheriff James Wegner reports deputies and fire crews found a single-engine Cessna 172 plane with two victims dead at the scene. Their names have not been released pending notification of family. There is no word on what caused the plane to go down and an investigation is ongoing.
