New Faces On Angels Camp Council

Angels Camp, CA — There will be a changing of the guard with the Angels Camp City Council meeting next week.

New City Councilmembers Scott Behiel and Amanda Folendorf will take the oath of office. Both were victorious during this past November’s General Election. The oath will also be administered to City Clerk Mary Kelly and Deputy City Clerk Susan Wenger.

The newly seated Council will then select a Mayor for 2015. Elaine Morris has been filling the role this past year. Later in the meeting, the Council will interview three candidates that have applied for two open Planning Commission seats. Those candidates are M. Steven Gonzalez, Gary L. Gordon and Robert Moncada.

Tuesday’s meeting starts at 6pm at the Angels Fire House on Vallecito Road.
