Law Enforcement Activity In Columbia

Columbia, CA — Law enforcement is on scene of an incident in the area near Columbia State Park.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is not commenting on the situation, but there is activity in the area.  We have learned that as a precaution, nearby Columbia Elementary School was put on a lockdown status, and students will remain in their rooms.  A district official says students are not considered in danger.  We will pass along more information as it comes into the News Center.
