Arnold, CA –Firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire in Arnold on the 2700 block of Valley View Drive and Evergreen Drive.
Cal Fire spokesperson Lisa Williams says, “There are two outbuilding and there is a threat to the wildland. It is wind driven.”
This is now the fifth fire in Calaveras County that myMotherlode.com has reported on in just over 24 hours. There are four engines on scene.
Update 3:30 p.m.: Cal Fire reports the fires have been contained and there is no estimate on the damages to the two outbuildings. Ebbetts Pass Fire District Crews will remain on scene for the next couple of hours doing mop up.
