Commission To Vote On Bourbon Barrel

Sonora, CA — The City of Sonora Planning Commission will vote on whether to issue a Design Review Permit for a new business hoping to open in Sonora.

The Bourbon Barrel would be located at 208 S. Green Street. The application is from Doug Kennedy and Trado Restaurant Corporation. Meeting documents state that the Bourbon Barrel would specialize in assorted bourbon whiskeys, accompanied by fine food, wine and beer.

The Design Review Permit is for proposed façade improvements. The business would be located within an existing commercial building. The space is currently vacant, but the building also houses Stage 3 Theatre Company and Dan’s Distributing.

It is the only notable item up for review at tonight’s Sonora Planning Commission meeting that starts at 5:30pm at City Hall.
