West Point, CA — A man was taken away by ambulance following a crash on Highway 26.
It happened at around 7:45pm on Tuesday near the intersection of Stanley Road. The CHP reports that 23-year-old Sean Michael Dunnam of West Point drove off the highway in a 1995 Saturn coupe and slammed into a fence. He was taken to Sutter Amador Hospital to treat “major injuries.” The CHP says he was driving while intoxicated. There were no people inside the car, and no other vehicles were believed to have been involved.
