Crash On Highway 108

Twain Harte, CA – Emergency crews are on route to a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 108.

The CHP reports a Chevy Suburban and an Audi sedan have crashed on the highway near the east entrance to Twain Harte.  The wreckage is partially blocking the roadway and traffic is getting backed up.  Officers are directing one-way traffic.  An ambulance has been called to the scene, but there is no word on injuries.  We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the News Center.

Update 4:50 p.m.: The CHP reports an air ambulance and  two ground ambulances have been called to the scene with major injuries in the crash.

Update 5:30 p.m.:  The CHP reports tow trucks are on scene working to clear the debris, but roadway still blocked.
