Caltrans Work For The Week Of April 6-10

Stockton, CA – Caltrans plans a very light workweek April 6-10 along the Mother Lode roads.

According to the Caltrans work schedule, the department plans to set up in two locations in Tuolumne County.

Along Highway 120, nighttime pavement operations will run between Green Springs Road and the Chinese Camp railroad crossing, Monday through Thursday, April 6 through April 9, from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Motorists should expect one-way traffic controls in place with potential delays of ten minutes.

Also beginning Monday, Caltrans plans to initiate an installation of rumble strips on a just over 11-mile stretch of Highway 108/120 in the Jamestown area, between near Enterprise Drive, continuing west to J-59/La Grange Road. According to Caltrans, expect one-way traffic controls and delays of up to ten-minutes, day and night, until the work is completed, sometime in May.

Currently, Caltrans has no scheduled road work in Calaveras County.

While Glacier Point Road in Yosemite National Park opened last weekend and remains open, weather permitting, Highway 120 Tioga Pass remains closed, as do Highway 4 Ebbetts and Highway 108 Sonora passes. Current plans, weather permitting, are that the passes will open in time for Memorial Day weekend.
