Sonora, CA — The CHP reports that a man was air-lifted to a hospital in Modesto following a crash on South Fork Road.
41-year-old Ronald N. Richardson was driving a Chevy Avalanche at 7:55pm on Monday, and went off the side of the road, down a steep embankment and into a tree. The vehicle overturned several times, and Richardson was ejected.
The CHP reports that Richardson was intoxicated at the time of the crash, and has been charged with DUI. The vehicle was totaled in the crash. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
