Possible Pin In Crash HWY49

Mokelumne Hill, CA — Emergency crews are responding to a two vehicle wreck on Highway 49 in Mokelumne Hill.

The CHP reports two pickup trucks have collided on the highway near Gold Rush Lane at the top of 13 curves.  The vehicles are blocking both lanes of the highway at this time. There is no word on injuries.

Update 5:40 p.m.: The CHP reports officers are directing traffic.

Update 6:35 p.m.: The CHP reports major injuries in the crash.  Additionally, tow crews have cleared the debris and traffic is moving freely once again.
