Calaveras County, CA — A Valley Springs woman suffered major injuries after driving off the road and into a tree.
The crash happened at 10:30pm Wednesday on Burson Road near the intersection of Circle Hill Drive. 54-year-old Diana Pishos lost control of her Chevy pickup truck while negotiating a curve, and collided with a fence and oak tree. She was transported by ambulance to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto to treat “major injuries.”
The CHP reports that Pishos was intoxicated at the time of the accident and she has been cited for DUI.
