Update: 1:50 p.m.: The power is back on for the Columbia area. PG&E gave no cause for the outage. The lights were off for nearly two hours for about 100 customers.
Update 1 p.m.: Columbia, CA — A power outage in the Columbia area has left about 100 PG&E customers without electricity. The lights went out just before noon in the area of Parrotts Ferry Road and Gold Springs Drive. PG&E reports crews are at the outage location working on the problem, but have not reported a cause for the outage or an estimated time of repair.
Original Post 10:40 a.m.: Mokelumne Hill, CA — There are some power outages scattered across the region this morning.
PG&E reports the hardest hit area is Mokelumne Hill in Calaveras County. In that community there are outages in three separate areas, impacting over 100 customers. PG&E is sending a crew to assess the situation, and it’s unclear when the outages will be restored. There are smaller outages, impacting only a handful of customers in Arnold, Angels Camp, Copperopolis, Murphys, and East Sonora.
