West Point, CA — Calaveras County Sheriff’s deputies are actively searching for 49-year-old Dane Allen Casey who has not been seen since April 29.
Sheriff’s officials were notified of Casey’s disappearance on Wednesday. He was last seen on Matson Lane, in West Point, around 6 p.m., driving a white 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck with license plate number CA 8U81240. Investigators say he was possibly headed to cut wood in the wilderness area off Winton Road.
Casey is described as a white male 5’11” of about 170 pounds; with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing blue jeans and a light-colored t-shirt. Please contact the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office at 209-754-6500 if you have any information regarding his disappearance or whereabouts. There is no word as to whether foul play is suspected at this time.
