Sonora, CA — Sierra Nevada mountain passes are reopening this morning following last week’s high country snow.
Caltrans spokesperson Angela Daprato reports that snow and debris were removed from Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass and Highway 108 Sonora Pass, and they are now safe for travel. Yosemite National Park has also reopened Highway 120 Tioga Pass.
Daprato stresses that weather can quickly change in the mountains so be prepared for any type of conditions when traveling to the high country.
