Sonora, CA — Sheriff Jim Mele will talk about new crime trends facing Tuolumne County.
Mele will be the guest on Mother Lode Views this weekend. He will also give an update on plans to build a new jail out at the law and justice center site off Old Wards Ferry Road. He will speak about county efforts to secure grant funding, and what the jail would all entail. He will also talk about a new piece of equipment the Sheriff’s Office is looking to possibly acquire, a Lenco MedCat vehicle. Learn about what it is, and why the Sheriff thinks it could be beneficial.
