Groundbreaking Highlights Supervisors Meeting

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors will meet at the Law and Justice Center site for a groundbreaking ceremony for the Juvenile Detention Facility.

It’s on the agenda as part of Tuesday’s Supervisors meeting, which starts at 9am, in downtown Sonora. The groundbreaking ceremony portion of the meeting will convene at noon, at the construction site off Old Wards Ferry Road. It is open to the public and will include a brief tour of the property.

At tomorrow’s meeting the board will also hear an update on the drought, and award a certificate of recognition to T.U.D. General Manager Tom Scesa for his upcoming retirement. There will also be a presentation provided on the 2015-16 county budget proposal.
