West Point, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fire that ignited last night.
It burned a 30 ft. x 30 ft. spot of vegetation in the 2800 block of Eganhoff Road in West Point. No homes or buildings were damaged, and no one was hurt. The fire started at around 8pm and firefighters remained on scene until just after 10:30pm. A cause has yet to be determined.
