Tuolumne County, CA — A stolen vehicle was found in Lake Tulloch last night.
Law enforcement responded to the incident, near Tulloch Dam Road, off Highway 108, just after 8pm. A witness reported seeing a cloud of dust and skid marks.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office sent a dive team into the lake to see if anyone was inside the vehicle, and spokesperson Sgt. Deborah Moss reports that no one was located. It was later discovered that the vehicle had been stolen out of Turlock. The CHP is the lead agency investigating the incident, but is not able to provide any additional details at this time.
