Caltrans Work Plans Week Of July 27

Stockton, CA — Caltrans plans work on at least five Mother Lode highways next week.

On Highway 4 from Ebbetts Pass to Highway 89, drainage cleaning operations will run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, with one-way traffic control and possible ten-minute motorist delays.

On Highway 12, in Valley Springs, round-the-clock construction on the right shoulder continues Monday through Friday between Pine Street and Cosgrove Creek, with additional pavement work there each weekday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. for which there will be one-way traffic controls in place, causing possible five-minute delays.

Related, round-the-clock weekday construction on Highway 26 between Nove Way and Highway 12 in the #1 of 2 lanes and along the shoulder is not expected to generate delays. However, daily pavement work between Hogan Dam Road and Highway 12 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. may bring minor ones.

Along Highway 49 in Calaveras County, shoulder work, scheduled each weekday from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. between Cosgrove Road and Calaveritas Creek, will have one-way traffic control in place and motorists should plan for delays of up to ten minutes.

On Highway 49 in Tuolumne County, maintenance each weekday between Penon Blanco Road and Serpentine Point along both shoulders from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. may generate five-minute delays for motorists.

Utility work, Wednesday only, on Highway 49 by Cowan Street is scheduled from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on the left shoulder and sidewalk, and may cause brief delays. Friday only, the utility crew will be working by Columbia Way on the left shoulder from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. but Caltrans does not anticipate it causing any delays.

On Highway 108, utility work is scheduled Friday along the right shoulder between Sierra and Lyons Dam roads from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., with no delays expected.
