Tuolumne County, CA — A fire burning since June 30th in the area of Donnell Reservoir is now 20 acres and 80% contained. Stanislaus National Forest officials say the recent increase in acreage is primarily due to a burnout operation conducted on the eastern flank. A Forest Service crew and engine remain on scene of the incident. Smoke from the fire has been visible in the area. No buildings are considered in danger.
A fire crew also continues to mop up and monitor the 3.4 acre Rosasco Fire burning in the Groveland Ranger District, west of Cherry Lake.
