Mosley Appointed To Planning Commission

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors have selected a replacement for outgoing planning commissioner Robert Fulcher.

Peggy Mosley, owner and operator of the Groveland Hotel, was appointed to the position with a 5-0 vote this morning. Fulcher recently submitted his letter of resignation due to his decision to move out of state. Mosley will join the seven-member commission that makes land use decisions and recommendations in the county.

County documents indicate that the Board of Supervisors had 15 applications to choose from, and Mosley was the unanimous choice. Mosley is retired from Lockheed Missiles and Space Co., and has owned the Groveland Hotel for 25 years. Her application notes that she is the owner of two historic buildings, and is familiar with the love of, and the requirements, of maintaining cultural resources.
