San Andreas, CA — The Chairman of the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will provide the latest information on the county’s response to the devastating Butte Fire.
Cliff Edson will be the guest on this weekend’s Mother Lode Views. One of the major looming concerns is that rain will result in erosion issues over the winter months, and Edson will talk about steps the county is taking in response. He will also talk about what it will take to rebuild following the fire, and what services are currently available for county residents. The Butte Fire ignited on September 9th and burned over 70,000 acres. It destroyed 475 homes.
