Update at 11:45am: Highway 120 Tioga Pass has reopened in Yosemite National Park. It joins Highway 108 Sonora Pass and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass in being open for weekend travel.
Original story posted at 11am: Highway 108 Sonora Pass has reopened in time for weekend travel.
The pass was closed earlier this week due to high country snow. Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass is also open.
Highway 120 Tioga Pass remains closed this morning. Officials with Yosemite National Park were not immediately available for comment as to whether it will be reopening today. The next notable chance of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service, is late Sunday and into Monday. Click here to read an earlier story. Temperatures on Monday are expected to be in the 50’s in Sonora on Monday, and snow levels are anticipated to drop to around 5,000 ft.
