A Free Pass For Military

La Grange, CA – In honor of Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11, free admission and camping at Lake Don Pedro is being offered those currently serving in the military, as well as veterans, and their families.

The perks are not just on Veterans Day. From now until the holiday all campgrounds in the Don Pedro Recreation Area, including Fleming Meadows, Moccasin Point and Blue Oaks are free.

The Don Pedro Recreation Agency reports despite the drought, there is still plenty of activities open to visitors such as boating, watersports and fishing. There are more than 5,500 acres and 100 miles of shoreline to explore. The species of fish include Bass, Salmon, Trout, Crappie and Catfish. Additionally the boat launch at the Fleming Meadows Recreation Area is open.
