Sonora, CA – Two area high school football teams are gearing up for the playoffs.
Sonora High School claimed its second straight Mother Lode League title this season and will match up against Marysville this Friday night at home. Kickoff will be at 7pm, and you can hear it live on Star 92.7. The Wildcats are the top seed in Division V of the Sac-Joaquin Section playoff brackets. The winner will play either Orestimba or Hughson the following week.
Calaveras High School is the number two seed in the Division IV bracket. The Redskins will matchup against Center of Antelope this Friday at home. The game will get underway at 7pm. The winner will take on either Sierra or Union Mine.
