Friday at the Opera Hall the Hometown Crafters Faire is Friday from 10am to 7pm. Watch the 32nd annual parade go by the front door at 5:30. Saturday hours for the Hometown Crafters Faire are 10am to 6pm. All vendors make their products and are local to the area.
Theparade on Friday promises festively decorated floats, Christmas music and downtown merchants will hold special hours with warm cider and goodies. Special Tuolumne County Transit Holiday Trolleys will run every 15 minutes from the Junction to Lyons Street 3:00 to 5:00pm and 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
The 40th Annual Sonora Christmas Craft Faire Mother Lode Fairgrounds runs the whole weekend from 10am to 4pm. The festival features over 150 craft artists, music, performers, costumed elves, carolers, and food.
Avery Christmas Tree Lighting festivities start at 5:30pm. Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Cookies, you may even bring cookies to share, if you’d like to help out. Santa will make an appearance for photos and everyone can sing along to favorite Christmas carols. The tree lighting is at 6:00 pm. At 6:30pm is the Christmas in White Pines Parade of Lights at Blagen Rd. in White Pines Park, Arnold.
Over in Mountain Ranch, at the Community Hall, on Saturday is the Christmas in the Country Craft Faire, Bake Sale & Luncheon.
Also on Saturday Give Thanks to Nature with park rangers at Tuttletown Recreation Area, at New Melones Lake.
Copperopolis is hosting their 1st Annual Old Fashioned Holiday at The Square on Saturday, November 28th, 11:00am-7:00pm. There will be Horse drawn carriage rides, Christmas carolers, live music by “Santa’s Pajama Party Band!” holiday food and craft vendors Santa and Mrs. Claus, and the tree lighting is at 4:00pm. The Angels Camp Christmas Parade begins Saturday at 5:00pm.
On Sunday at Court House park expect a Peoples Climate Action March beginning at 2:00pm.
