Total snow accumulations of four to eight inches are expected around 5000 feet. Eight to fourteen inches of accumulation is likely in the highest elevations.
Snowfall rates of one to two inches per hour are possible.
Travel impacts are expected with chain controls likely with hazardous driving conditions due to snow and reduced visibilities.
A Winter Storm Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or are occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
