Update: Jamestown Power Outage And Traffic Hazard

Update at 7:53am: The CHP reports that Rawhide Road is back open. The 178 PG&E customers without electricity should have the power restored by around 6pm, according to the company.

Original story posted at 6:30am: Jamestown, CA — 178 PG&E customers in Jamestown are without electricity. The outage started just after 6am and it is notably impacting a stretch of Rawhide Road and Peppermint Creek.

The CHP reports that a tree and powerlines have fallen across Rawhide Road, about a half mile from the Highway 108 intersection. Rawhide Road is blocked, as PG&E needs to respond and assess the situation. Cars are being turned around at Shell Road. You will want to avoid the area.
