Update at 7:30 p.m.: PG&E reports a repair crew has arrived on scene, but there is no word on what may have sparked the outage. The company has pushed the repair time to just before midnight Tuesday.
Original report at 6:50 p.m.: Arnold, CA — PG&E reports more than a thousand customers have been without electricity since around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The company reports that 1,167 customers along both sides of Highway 4, west from Blagen Road extending east to El Ranchero Drive are without lights. A repair crew is heading to the outage area to assess the situation. PG&E has estimated the restoration time around 7:30 p.m.
