Update at 8:47am: PG&E reports that power has now been restored to the customers that lost electricity earlier this morning in the Phoenix Lake area.
Original story posted at 7:50am: Sonora, CA — PG&E reports that 47 customers are without electricity this morning in the Phoenix Lake area because a vehicle hit a power pole.
The accident occurred at around 6am, and it is not immediately clear if there were any notable injuries that resulted from the incident. PG&E hopes to have power restored by 8:45am. The outage is impacting customers along Phoenix Lake Road, near the Phoenix Lake Estates.
