Sonora, CA – Motorists will face some delays this week as crews continue to replace fire hydrants in downtown Sonora.
Oakdale based, Mozingo Construction will be preforming fire hydrant and water main replacements all week. The work begins on Monday, Feb. 1 and runs through Friday, Feb. 5 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on East Jackson Street and East Oakside Drive, east of Stewart Street. There may be flaggers directing one-way controlled traffic on different roadways in that area at varying times throughout the day and week. Delays are expected to be minimal, ranging from 5 to 10 minutes.
Company officials caution drivers to keep an eye out for large construction equipment along with crews working on those roadways.
