Stockton, CA – Caltrans will be sending crews to work along four Mother Lode highways this week.
In Calaveras County near Mokelumne Hill, every weekday along Highway 26 between Happy Valley and Lower Dorray roads, drainage and or tree work from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. will generate 15-minute delays for motorists. Seek alternate routes, if possible.
Monday and Tuesday along Highway 26 in Oak Grove, utility work may generate brief traffic interruptions between Savage Way and Nichols Road from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Expect ten-minute setbacks along various parts of Highway 4 all week along from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during maintenance operations. Monday, crews will focus between Batten Road and Main Street, Douglas Flat; Tuesday, the work shifts between Main Street and Batten Road; on Wednesday and Thursday the crews will work between Six Mile Creek and Parrotts Ferry Road.
Grinding and paving slated on Highway 4 near Big Meadow Tuesday through Thursday will focus between Black Spring Road and Ganns Meadow Drive from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Expect five-minute traffic delays there.
In Tuolumne County, Monday through Thursday, drainage work along Highway 108 will focus from about a mile west of Herring Creek Lane to Strawberry Road. According to Caltrans, crews are scheduled only from 10 a.m. until noon and delays should be momentary.
Wednesday, along Highway 49, drainage and utility work scheduled between Serpentine Point and Jackass Gulch Bridge from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. may cause five-minute traffic interruptions.
