Arnold, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office reports that Arnold resident Don Peterson has been “located and is safe.”
No further information is currently being made available by authorities, other than that Peterson is being checked by medics “as a precaution.” Peterson, 79, was reported missing at 12:30pm on Thursday by family members. He had been walking along the Arnold Rim Trail with his dog. It is unclear if he was located in that area.
