Update: Power Restored To Mother Lode PG&E Customers

Update 3:40 p.m.: The power has been retored to all 57 PG&E customers in the community of Tuolumne. The lights went out just after 7 a.m. Crews  discovered  damage to an underground power cable. It took more than eight hours to fix the problem, which impacted customers in an area near Cemetery Lane.

Update 3 p.m.: PG&E has pushed  back the repair time for 57 customers in Tuolumne to 3:30p.m.

Update 2:10 p.m.: The lights are back on for 50 PG&E customers in the Copperopolis area of Calaveras County that were without lights due to scheduled maintenance. In the Tuolumne, a damaged cable has left 55 customers without power since around 7 a.m. The company estimating the restoration time around in the three o’clock hour. Original Post 12:17 p.m.: Tuolumne, CA — 57 PG&E customers in the community of Tuolumne are without electricity.

PG&E reports that there was some damage discovered to an underground power cable. The company hopes to have customers restored by 3pm. The outage is impacting customers in an area near Cemetery Lane.

In addition, 50 customers are without electricity in the Copperopolis area. PG&E says it is impacting Vista Knolls Court and Knolls Drive. PG&E says this incident is a planned outage, and the customers should be restored by 2pm.
