Beer Garden Approved By Commission

Sonora, CA — The proposed beer garden at 198 S. Green Street in Sonora was approved last night by the city’s planning commission.

A vote on the proposal was delayed last month after hearing some concerns about noise voiced by neighboring residents, which led to concerns that the project may not move forward. The project proponent, Trado Restaurant Corporation, has made a point to address noise and/or parking complaints.

Supporters packed the meeting room last night and the commission voted unanimously to issue a design review permit  for the project. It will be located near the company’s existing Bourbon Barrel establishment, as well as Stage 3 Theater.
