McClintock And Neubacher To Speak At Yosemite Earth Day Festival

Yosemite, CA — Yosemite National Park will host an Earth Day Festival on Saturday, which will also be a celebration of the Centennial of the National Park Service.

The festivities will run from 10am-3pm at the Yosemite Valley Visitors Center. Several events are planned, and park rangers will set up special booths featuring games, demonstrations and historical ranger vehicles. At 2pm, Congressman Tom McClintock and Park Superintendent Don Neubacher are scheduled to speak during a special ceremony in honor of the 150 anniversary of the State Park Ranger.

Entrance to Yosemite National Park remains free, through this Sunday, in honor of National Park Week. The special Earth Day events are also free of charge.
