Update at 3:05 p.m.: The CHP has reopened Highway 132 after a motorhome went off the roadway, down an embankment and flipped over. Officers were diverting traffic at Granite Springs Road and Highway 49 in Coulterville for about an hour as tow crews worked to clear the wreckage. Traffic is moving freely once again.
Original post at 2:35 p.m.: Mariposa, CA — An RV crash has forced the closure of Highway 132 two-miles west of Highway 49 causing traffic to be re-routed.
The CHP reports the roadway is shutdown between Coulterville and Granite Springs. The wreck happened just before 1:30 p.m. when the 33 foot long motorhome went off the highway down an embankment and overturned. The CHP reports two 15-gallon tanks have liquid leaking out of them. There is no word on how long the roadway will be closed. There are no injuries in the crash.
Officers are detouring traffic at Highway 49 and Granite Springs Road. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the news center.
