Update: Rollover Crash Slows Traffic On Highway 49

Update at 4:44pm: The CHP reports that Highway 49 is now clear and traffic is moving freely.

Original story posted at 4:30pm: Sonora, CA — Traffic has been slow and go on Highway 49 between Columbia and Sonora.

The CHP reports that a vehicle hit a deer near Jack Page Road this afternoon and rolled over. The CHP reports a tow truck is responding to the scene. As you can see in the photo, officers are directing traffic on Highway 49. Be prepared for a delay this late afternoon. It is not immediately clear if there are any notable injuries resulting from the crash.
