Sonora, CA — A new loan program is being touted as a way to help both startup and existing businesses grow in Tuolumne County.
Through a partnership with the Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority, Fresno Community Development Financial Institution and the Alliance Small Business Development Center, the “Grow Tuolumne Fund” can help small businesses unable to find bank financing.
“Grow Tuolumne” loans, ranging from $5,000 to $300,000, are available to help finance working capital, buy equipment, make tenant improvements or to refinance high interest business debt.
Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority Director Larry Cope describes the program as “a great opportunity to support local business development by bringing additional funding opportunities to county businesses.” He adds, “more money for local businesses means more jobs.”
Companies with less than two years in business must have a business plan to apply. You can find more information by clicking here or calling the Alliance SBDC at 209-567-4910.
