Sonora, CA — The CHP has released information about a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Woodham Carne Road.
The accident happened Saturday evening at 8:20pm near the intersection of Vergus Road. 55-year-old Duane Hernandez of Sonora was riding a 2000 Harley Davidson and lost control of the vehicle while going into a curve. CHP Officer Nick Norton reports that it is unclear how fast Hernandez was traveling or if alcohol or drugs were a factor. Hernandez was ejected as his bike overturned and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
