Gold Springs Project On TUD Agenda

Columbia, CA — The T.U.D. Board of Directors will meet this afternoon, and one of the bigger items on the agenda is the Gold Springs Sewer Replacement Project.

The proposed project, included in the district’s five-year capital improvement plan, is situated on the east side of Parrotts Ferry Road in Columbia. It calls for the replacement of 5,510 linear ft. of sewer force main and 963 linear ft. of sewer gravity main. On the agenda is a public hearing related to the environmental review of the project and then also whether to award a $673,000 contract to the lowest bidder, Moyle Excavation, Inc., to complete the work.

In addition, the TUD Board will hear an update on the comprehensive Phoenix Lake Preservation and Restoration Project. Today’s meeting starts at 2pm.
