Update at 4:15 p.m.: T.U.D. reports more paving work in downtown Sonora to delay traffic on Wednesday, July 20. Stretches along Green and Church streets will be impacted from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with up to 10 minute delays for motorists.
Original post at 7:42 p.m.: Sonora, CA — T.U.D. reports that paving work will cause 5-10 minute traffic delays today.
GT Construction Inc., under the direction of TUD, will be paving along Green Street and Linoberg Street today from 7:30am – 4:30pm. You are encouraged to avoid the area while the work is underway.
Then coming up tomorrow, as reported previously, there will be 5-10 minute traffic delays in Columbia on Parrotts Ferry Road between Church Street and Jackson Street. Crews will be making planned sewer repairs. You are asked travel with caution and be advised that flaggers will be directing traffic.
Caltrans also has several road projects underway in the Mother Lode. There are delays in areas like Mono Way, Old Priest Grade and Highway 49. Click here to read the earlier story.
