Sonora, CA — New efforts are underway as Tuolumne County leaders respond to massive tree mortality.
This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will feature Ethan Billigmeier with the Tuolumne County Office of Emergency Services and Mike Albrecht of Sierra Resource Management. Hear the latest on where teams are working to remove dead trees, and also what lies ahead. In addition, they will speak about concerns they have heading into the traditional busiest portion of the fire season, August and September.
Despite the wetter winter, Tuolumne County is also still receiving new reports of drying water wells. Billigmeier will detail county programs that are currently available.
