Update at 1:58 p.m.: The CHP reports that the eastbound lane of Highway 12 west of Highway 49 has been re-opened.
Original Post at 1:34 p.m. : San Andreas, CA – A two-vehicle head-on collision with injuries has closed down Highway 12 west of Highway 49, as units respond to transport the injured parties.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) San Andreas Unit, the incident was called in shortly after 1 p.m. As the entire roadway is blocked, motorists should use Highway 49 to Highway 26 as a detour.
