Update at 4:30 p.m.: The CHP has released further details on what caused the wreck north of Mountain Ranch that happened just after 12:30 p.m. Friday on Jesus Maria Road near the Railroad Flat Road intersection.  The CHP reports although 28-year-old Bailey McKeeham from Valley Spring had pulled his 2009 Chevy Malibu off onto the westside shoulder of the roadway it was partially blocking the southbound traffic lane.  A 24-year-old San Jose man driving 2001 Suzuki motorcycle encountered the car as he was heading southbound at an unknown speed.  Officer Toby Butzler states, “The motorcyclists failed to see the stopped car… at the last second he did observe it and did lock up the brakes. The motorcyclists was given CPR at the scene but subsequently succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
